You may have encountered a situation where the downloaded file was damaged and didn’t open smoothly.
The method to verify whether the file has changed is the information summary algorithm.
It analyzes the contents of the file and generates a hash string.
Compare your file hash value with someone else’s hash value to see whether your file has changed.
Currently, commonly used hash algorithms include MD5, SHA1, and SHA256.
To verify file validation, we added a Web page.
Users can upload files or paste strings to get these hash values:
md5, sha1, sha224, sha256, sha384, sha512.
It is important to note that this tool is not server dependent.
That is, as long as you open the page, it will work even if the network is down later.
The files you upload are in the browser, not sent to the server, and the data is not stole.
